Habitat for Humanity:
We unite people of all races and religions to build houses in partnership with families in need. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing. We seek to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
MMOC partners with the Catholic Churches of St. Louis to assist Habitat for Humanity with construction in the St. Louis area. There are usually two work days per year for Mary Mother. The day begins at 8:00 am and usually concludes around 3:00 pm.
2008 Work Days:
The 2008 build site will be in the Jeff Vander Lou area near the Rock Church off Grand. Mary Mother work day will be as follows:
Sat. August 2nd - 15 people - Prime interior walls, finish ceiling and trim paint.
Sat. August 16th - 10 People - Hang cabinets/doors and finish installing floor (Pergo).
Every volunteer MUST have a signed release form with them on the morning of the build. You may open \ download your form here.
